What I baked today

Well today was a busy day getting ready for the week ahead. The boys love homemade bread rolls in their lunch with a flapjack thrown in too! And the fudge, well why not? I’ll put all the recipes up in the coming weeks. If anyone has any request just pop them into the comment section.

I’ve been experimenting with many different types of flour for this bread recipe and finally  have found one that works brilliantly. It’s Allinson Premium White Very Strong Bread Flour. It’s not sold everywhere, I buy it in Tesco.

Flapjacks are a great filler for hungry boys just home from school. I try to alternate the recipe. They are lovely made with coconut or pecans or cranberries. Sometimes I use maple syrup instead of golden syrup, throw in the pecans with this for a great combo.

Vanilla Fudge, delicious!
